Sharing Data with Third Parties

Clients: After a client has registered with us we will share the broad requirements of the assignment on an anonymous basis with the tutor(s) we consider most suitable to the client’s needs. Once a tutor agrees to work with a client, we will bring them in touch sharing their mutual details with both of them. Other than sharing information with our tutor pool we will keep the client’s personal information confidential within our company and not pass it on to any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

Tutors:  We may share your tutor profile with prospective clients. We will pass on your contact details to clients for jobs that you have applied for or for jobs that you have expressed an interest in. Other than sharing information with our clients we will keep your personal information confidential within our group of companies and not pass it on to any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

Third Party Links - Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest, which belong to third parties not governed by this privacy statement and which are entirely outside our sphere of control. Therefore, you understand that we cannot be responsible for the handling of any information you provide whilst visiting such sites, and for this reason you should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. They help make your browsing experience better by remembering you and your preferences for a particular site, keeping you logged in to a website etc.  We also use cookies for these reasons, as well as for statistical information that helps us provide you with better services. The information does not identify a user personally, just the user’s computer. If you prefer to change the usual pre-set of your browser, you can set it to refuse cookies, though this may preclude you from enjoying the full functionality of the LL&B website.

Access to your data: Following a written request, you are entitled to receive a copy of the information LL&B holds about you. An administrative fee may be charged for effecting this. You also have the right to request the correction of inaccurate information we may have about you.

Security

We take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is kept safe and will endeavour to protect it from unauthorised access. Your information will only be kept for a commercially reasonable period of time for the purposes stated above.
